Caryn Franklin
Co-Founder

Former fashion editor and co-editor of i-D Magazine for 6 years in the early eighties, Caryn Franklin has been a fashion commentator for 29 years. She presented the BBC’s Clothes Show for 12 years and BBC’s Style Challenge for 3 years as well as producing and presenting numerous documentaries for ITV on designers including Vivienne Westwood, Philip Treacy and Matthew Williamson as well as various other programmes including ‘Style Academy,’ ‘Frock and Roll Years,’ and ‘Style Bible.’ She has written for many magazines and newspapers and has produced 4 books to including a novel ‘Woman in the Mirror,’ published by Harper Collins.

Working in education throughout her career as external assessor and lecturer in colleges like Central St Martins, London College of fashion and Royal College of Art she is also an ardent fashion activist and has co-chaired award winning Fashion Targets Breast Cancer for 15 years which helped build and maintain Britain’s first dedicated breast cancer research centre; she is a visiting research fellow at London College of Fashion, and honorary Research Fellow at The Arts University College Bournemouth and she proposed the London College of Fashion, Centre of Sustainability and is its ambassador.

In a natural extension - because body and beauty ideals have to be sustainable too, she co-founded the award winning All Walks Beyond the Catwalk with Debra and Erin and regularly blogs about All Walks and Body Image from her Huffington Post column.

Debra Bourne
Co-Founder

Debra’s career in the communications industry has been many and varied, from working with The Beatles to design UN-award-winning eco-aware hemp T-shirts, to co-directing Lynne Franks PR, to providing PR and brand consultancy numerous clients from Jean Paul Gaultier to Swatch and Proctor and Gamble. She has contributed to a number of publications, as executive fashion editor to Arena and Arena Homme Plus; contributing editor to GQ Magazine and creative consultant to Frank Magazine.

Debra has also maintained an 18-year personal commitment to psychotherapy training. It was the mix of Debra’s experience of the fashion industry and her communications background with her dedication to an understanding of our inner worlds that acted as a catalyst to co-found All Walks Beyond the Catwalk with Caryn and Erin as a vehicle to inspire and empower.

Erin O’Connor
Co-Founder

Although she planned to make it as a dancer, Erin O’ Connor’s career took a different route in 1996 after being scouted in Birmingham. Within just a few months she found herself working with Richard Avedon on the Versace campaign.

With her graceful presence and statuesque beauty, Erin is able to single-handedly purvey a dynamic new look and has acted as a muse for numerous designers, artists and photographers including Chanel, Givency, Valentino and Armani – to name but a few. To this day Erin is one of the only living people to have appeared on a postage stamp, shot by Nick Knight.

Erin’s work extends far beyond the catwalk and is Vice Chairman of London Fashion Week for the British Fashion Council. She continues to write on a regular basis, and has written for leading publications including The Times, I-D Magazine, The Guardian, and a fortnightly blog for leading fashion website, Vogue.com.

After contributing to The Model’s Health Enquiry, In 2007 Erin set up The Model Sanctuary. Along with stylist Kate Halfpenny, Erin has launched her own line of fair-trade cotton t shirts. Erin was appointed as a trustee for the V&A Museum and regularly chairs forums there for art and fashion students.

Michael Williamson
Production Manager and Blog Contributor

After studying fine art and fashion design, Michael went on to secure placements with Gareth Pugh, Ada Zanditon and MCQ, designing for Alexander McQueen’s diffusion line. He has since worked on several styling projects, working on bespoke stage pieces for CK one, GQ Italy and many others. He has also worked with boy band JLS, styling and designing pieces for their stage.

After showcasing his final collection ‘Love Letters from Hell’ at Graduate Fashion Week, Michael went on to work with Caryn Franklin for All Walks Beyond the Catwalk at London Fashion Week. He is now working as production manager, in charge of digital marketing and website design. He is also a regular contributor to the All Walks blog. As well as working with All Walks, Michael recently designed a t – shirt for eating disorder charity BEAT, which was sold exclusively at the marble arch Marks and Spencer’s, with all profit going to charity. Michael is currently working for Jane Galpin as a fashion assistant, working behind the scenes for shows including Disney’s Get the Look and channel 4′s How to Look Good Naked.

Charlotte Gush
Online Commissioning Editor

Charlotte is a fashion writer and editor, as well as a Web Coordinator at London College of Fashion. Charlotte started at All Walks as a marketing and event production assistant on a six month internship. At the time the campaign was heavily focused on ‘SNAPPED’, an extraordinary one-off event at the National Portrait Gallery (NPG), which saw nine All Walks-commissioned diverse fashion portraits, shot by Rankin at London Fashion Week displayed amongst the NPG’s permanent collection. Charlotte was heavily involved in the creation of the event literature, most notable working with Caryn in the drafting and editing of the “Rankin trail” booklet which discussed the relationships between the selected historic portraits and the modern, diverse fashion portraits.

On completion of her internship, Charlotte took on her new role as Online Commissioning Editor of All Walks, focusing on the management of a team of international writers for the All Walks blog. Charlotte also works as a freelance writer and editor, contributing to a number of fashion and culture publications.

Fenia Moskou
Graphic Designer and Production Assistant

Fenia Moskou is a Freelance Graphic Designer, setting up her own company iamfenia in 2005. At the end of July 2010 she was introduced to All Walks Beyond the Catwalk after a conversation with co-founder Debra Bourne led to the topic of fashion. From there Fenia started working as the Graphic Designer, making brochures and invites for the campaign.By September that year, she was working as the production assistant and has been working with Caryn, Debra, Erin and the team ever since. Notable work includes working with them on SNAPPED with Rankin at both London Fashion Week and the National Portrait Gallery.

Previous to All Walks, Fenia worked as a PA for established fashion designer SUZANNAH. She has also worked with the emerging photographer Alistair Guy. In the past she has also worked for PR company Bryan Morel PR. Fenia has also worked as a translator in tourism exhibitions as a result of being able to speak both German and English, as well as her native language Greek. She has also worked during London Fashion Week in PR and Press for a Greek Music and Life Style magazine.As well as Graphic Design, she has done a lot of work on screen printing, designing art work and printing it onto various materials.

Charmaine Ayden

Charmaine is a Fashion Communication graduate from Northumbria University. An avid admirer of all things ‘glossy’, she set her heart on a career in Fashion Journalism from a young age. Undertaking work placements with Vogue, WSGN, Asos, Drapers and Glamour Magazine, Charmaine is currently working as Copy and Features Writer for Brownsfashion.com. Providing imaginative and accurate detail for copy, she has recently interviewed Mark Fast, Thomas Tait, Huishan Zhang and Suno.

Charmaine also works as a freelance writer and editor for unique online publication, deluxxdigital.com. Her responsibilities include providing copy for the quarterly magazine and contributing to the editorial process.Dedicated to the progression of sustainable fashion and international development, Charmaine has spent a lot of time in Zambia, teaching in African communities and assisting local press. Since leaving Zambia she has been appointed as the Communications Officer for Charity Friend of EduSport, which endeavors to support education in Africa.

Sheron Mary Regina Williams

Newsletter Designer

Sheron Williams interest in fashion began during the summer of 2005 when she decided to become a volunteer at her local charity shop, sourcing 90′s inspired geometric print t-shirts and Praktica cameras. Although her interest in this field was was very notable, she became more attracted to to idea of communication and the power of design as a communicative tool.

Shortly after the completion of her Graphic Design degree course at Camberwell College of Arts. Sheron has successively worked for a number of leading London based companies such as ZPM, LEBOOK, Fashion East, Center for Fashion Enterprise, R Consultancy and The Royal Hospital for Neuro Disability.It was, however, whilst working for Browns Fashion as a graphic designer she met the resident copywriter Charmaine Ayden who would later go on to introduce her to Debra Bourne and Caryn Franklin to take part in launch of their first online newsletter and forthcoming newsletters for 2012.

Sheron currently specialises in layout, typography, digital design, Branding and film.


Ben Trill

Ben Trill is a freelance digital creative with a portfolio of clients focused on the arts, fashion, community, education and consultation.

He works in web, interactive, print and illustration. Although collaborating on creative individual projects. His video/projection and installation works have been shown during London Fashion Week, and pattern designs recently published in design publications, most notably Spanish magazine ‘Texitura’. He also lectures on the Fashion Studies BA(hons) course in design and the use of new technology at the Arts University College at Bournemouth.

Ooffie Hardwick


A quick run through of Ooffii’s CV proves that one size does not fit all. From sales assistant at a high end fetish store, to production manager of Europe’s largest solar powered music festival, to graduating with a first in history, there is not much that Ooffii will not throw herself into 100%, as long as she believes in it. She is now working as Production Coordinator for All Walks during Graduate Fashion Week and the throughout the launch of Diversity NOW!; this has given her the opportunity to bring together her background in women’s studies and her interest in fashion.

She is undertaking a masters in Gender, Media and Culture at LSE, enabling her to continue her work with All Walks, whilst also starting her own research into the relationship between media and socially constructed concepts of beauty.


Tineke De Freitas

Trinidadian born Tineke De Freitas currently living in London has a true passion for fashion. A respected model in Trinidad, Tineke’s no stranger to international catwalks, having modelled in Toronto Fashion Week as well as the 2006 Miss World competition where she represented her country.
An offspring of cultural integration, Tineke represents many races; Indo-Chinese on her mum’s side and Afro-European on her dad’s.
A certified Accountant and Taxation adviser, Tineke’s diverse background enables her to share in the ethos and value of All Walks as she hopes to aid in bringing to the fashion forefront…that diversity IS beauty and fashion IS individualistic!Tineke has helped co-ordinate All Walks presentation Graduate Fashion Week and the national student competition Diversity NOW!


Samantha Kay Oliver
Student Ambassador

Samantha-Kay Oliver is currently studying for a Fashion Studies degree at the Arts University College in Bournemouth. She joined the All Walks team having read an article in the Metro newspaper of their work with designer Mark Fast and model Hayley Morely and emailing co – founder Debra Bourne expressing her amazement at the campaign. She offered her help to All Walks while studying Fashion Retail and the Fashion Retail Academy in London (FRA).

She is now working for All Walks alongside with her studies, working in London with the team for nearly a year. Sam is currently working for All Walks as a Student Ambassador for the south of England, giving talks and working with universities and their students to spread the word of diversity in fashion courses. She is hoping to work with even more colleges and universities in the new student year.


Meg Finney


Meg Finney is a Communication Studies major with a background in Film Production at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. Interested in personal style and fashion as a communicative medium, she discovered All Walks through researching body image.

Inspired by All Walks’ central mission, she proposed a research project to her university on fashion communication and the shifting emphasis toward more diverse beauty ideas. With support and funding from Loyola Marymount, she came to London to work, learn, and understand the organization’s philosophy. She edited the N.P.G campaign film and separately directed, filmed and edited the lecture presentation for Skype presentation.She hopes to bring the ideals of All Walks to her university.


Rachel Holland

With a career that began in TV and Film design and production, working on productions such as Dr Who and Torchwood. Rachel’s experience started a far way away from the fashion world that she now inhabits.

Rachel has previously worked as a producer on a high-profile digital campaign for Grazia magazine over London fashion week. She has also worked within the digital industry for many years on production for beauty, fashion and luxury brands and has also provided art direction for various commercial and charity digital projects.

These days she is better known for her work within the fashion industry as both a Fashion Stylist and Creative Director. Her styling work spans across digital campaigns, magazine editorials, brand adverts and catwalk shows.

Rachel has a strong passion for the extraordinary and unique and believes that beauty is for everyone. Within her work for all walks, she will strive to not only campaign for recognition of all types of beauty, but to open up an honest and truthful flow of dialogue between industry members.

Hannah Fillingham
Current Intern

Hanna Fillingham is a second year Journalism student at Cardiff University. She has always been interested in fashion and at the age of 15, wrote to Topshop with some design ideas, resulting in her being invited to the head design department to do some work experience. Her love of writing was discovered after spending time at the fashion desk at The Times and with Sugar magazine.

While at Cardiff, Hanna has been heavily involved with writing for the university magazine Quench. She tracked down and interviewed local welsh designer Joanne Terrar to feature in the fashion section, believing nobody could talk better about her work than the woman herself. She has also done interviewing for the online publication Hotel Designs, where she wrote up a review of The Big Sleep in Cardiff. Her letter to Fiona Philips was published in her column in The Daily Mirror, as a result of writing about her views on the size zero craze. She hopes to make a difference through her writing and is currently interning for Caryn Franklin. She has recently bought a typewriter so she can write spontaneously at any time she likes, as well as using it as an escape mechanism from facebook and eye pain.


Rebecca Eleady-Cole
Current Intern

Rebecca is a Goldsmiths College, University of London graduate. After studying for a BSc in Psychology, Rebecca went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience. It was during her first year of her undergraduate studies that her interest in body image and well-being began. Since, her research interests have been focused on female well-being, fashion and culture. Rebecca has spent time working in mental health, and after reading about the Models’ Health Inquiry she interned at FM Agency and has also contributed to Erin’s Model Sanctuary. Rebecca hopes to go on to train as a Clinical Psychologist specialising in female well-being.
