Here at All Walks we’re all about celebrating diverse beauty, both on and beyond the catwalk. It’s great to see a increasing number of Asian models in campaigns for the larger fashion houses, and Ming Xi really hit the big time with her appearance in the Givenchy AW 2010 ads:
Ming stars alongside designer Ricardo Tisci’s muse Mariacarla Boscono, who is notable for her continued success as a model at the age of thirty, and transexual model Lea T, who had previously been Tisci’s assistant. This campaign alone might well persuade otherwise those who had doubted the merits of diversity and strong individual beauty.
